Synopsis

Ninja Scroll is a Japanese animated film set in feudal Japan. The story follows Jubei Kibagami, a skilled ninja who gets caught up in a battle between the government and a group of demonic ninjas known as the Eight Devils of Kimon.

After witnessing the brutal murder of a spy, Jubei is tasked with protecting a government agent named Dakuan as they investigate the mysterious deaths of several prominent figures. Along the way, they encounter the Eight Devils, each with their own unique abilities and deadly weapons.

As Jubei and Dakuan uncover a plot to overthrow the government, they must use all of their skills and cunning to defeat the Eight Devils and their leader, the powerful and enigmatic Himuro Gemma.

The film is known for its intense action sequences, graphic violence, and dark themes, making it a cult classic among fans of Japanese animation.
