"Oslo, August 31st" is a film that follows a day in the life of Anders, a recovering drug addict who is on a day release from a rehabilitation center in Oslo. As he wanders around the city, he reflects on his past mistakes and struggles to find meaning in his life. Throughout the day, Anders meets old friends and acquaintances, some of whom have moved on with their lives while others are still stuck in the same destructive patterns. As night falls, Anders is faced with a difficult decision that will determine the course of his future.
