Blue Eyelids is a Mexican film directed by Ernesto Contreras. The story follows Marina, a lonely woman who wins a trip for two to a beach resort. However, she has no one to go with and decides to find a companion through a radio contest. Marina meets Victor, a man who also won a trip but has no one to go with. They agree to pretend to be a couple for the duration of the trip in order to enjoy the prize.
As they spend time together, Marina and Victor start to develop real feelings for each other. However, their relationship is put to the test when Marina receives a phone call informing her that her sister is gravely ill. Marina must decide whether to stay with Victor or leave to be with her family.
