Synopsis
Kathryn is the owner of a successful cafe/restaurant.. One night as she is leaving alone, she finds a man sitting in a car just outside. She calls the police. When the police arrive one officer, Sgt. Kaleen, breaks the window and drags the man from the car, beating him with his baton. The other officers join him, leaving him for dead. Kathryn witnesses the beating and rings the police and an ambulance. Kaleen is investigated, with Kathryn giving evidence that results in him being suspended and kept to the same rank for life. In the time that follows, Kathryn's family is targeted. Her car is reported as stolen, she receives threatening phone calls in the middle of the night, Kathryn's husband is investigated at work, and her son is arrested for rape and murder. Kathryn works with Jack, the internal relations officer, to get her life back on track.
