Periods is a short film that follows the lives of three women from different backgrounds who are all experiencing their menstrual cycles at the same time. The film explores the taboo surrounding menstruation and how it affects each woman in different ways.
One woman is a high-powered executive who is struggling to keep up with the demands of her job while dealing with the physical and emotional toll of her period. Another woman is a young girl who is experiencing her first period and is confused and scared about what is happening to her body.
The third woman is a homeless woman who is forced to navigate the challenges of living on the streets while dealing with the added difficulty of managing her period without access to proper hygiene products. As the women's stories unfold, they come to realize that despite their differences, they are all connected by this shared experience.
