In the movie #Realityhigh, a high school student named Dani Barnes is an overachieving high school senior with dreams of getting into UC Davis. However, her life takes a turn when a former popular classmate, Alexa Medina, returns to school and becomes the center of attention.

Dani's world is turned upside down as she navigates through the complexities of high school drama, social media, and teenage relationships. She finds herself caught in a love triangle between her longtime crush, Cameron Drake, and Alexa's ex-boyfriend, Freddie Myers.

As Dani tries to balance her academic goals with the pressures of fitting in and finding love, she must ultimately decide what is truly important to her and who she wants to be. Will she stay true to herself or succumb to the pressures of popularity and social media?

The choice of songs in the film adds depth to the character development, particularly in highlighting the contrast between Dani's genuine aspirations and the superficial world of social media and popularity. The soundtrack effectively underscores the themes of authenticity and staying true to oneself amidst the pressures of teenage drama.

Each song in the soundtrack complements the characters' development, adding depth and complexity to their relationships and inner struggles.

4/10

The use of music in #Realityhigh at times felt jarring and out of place, disrupting the flow of the scenes rather than enhancing them. The abrupt shifts in tone and style within the soundtrack made it difficult to fully immerse myself in the storyline, ultimately detracting from my enjoyment of the film.

Margaret Jones
8/10

The music enhances the storytelling by creating a sense of tension and anticipation during pivotal moments in Dani's journey, keeping the audience engaged and emotionally invested.

Carol Allen
2/10

I found the song selection in the movie to be uninspired and cliché, relying heavily on overused pop tracks that did little to add depth or complexity to the narrative. The lack of originality in the soundtrack detracted from the overall viewing experience and failed to create a memorable musical backdrop for the story.

John White
3/10

The soundtrack of #Realityhigh felt disconnected from the emotional depth of the characters' experiences. The music choices often seemed generic and failed to enhance the storytelling, leaving scenes feeling flat and lacking impact.

While some tracks in the soundtrack of #Realityhigh may feel somewhat cliché or predictable for a high school-themed movie, overall, the music contributes to creating a relatable and engaging atmosphere. It complements the narrative by immersing the audience in the conflicts and dilemmas faced by the characters, making the viewing experience more engaging and emotionally resonant.
