Synopsis

Struck by Lightning is a coming-of-age comedy film that follows the story of high school senior Carson Phillips, played by Chris Colfer. Carson is determined to escape his small town and attend Northwestern University to pursue his dream of becoming a journalist. However, his plans are put on hold when he is struck by lightning and killed.
