Saria is a short film inspired by true events that follows the story of two inseparable orphaned sisters, Saria and Ximena, who live in a government-run orphanage in Guatemala. The film explores the harsh reality of the orphanage, where the girls face abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
Despite the challenges they face, Saria and Ximena dream of a better life and plan to escape the orphanage. However, their escape attempt ends in tragedy when a fire breaks out in the orphanage, killing 41 girls.
