Synopsis

Saw V is a 2008 horror film directed by David Hackl. The movie follows the story of Jigsaw, a serial killer who sets up elaborate traps to test his victims' will to live.

In this installment, Detective Hoffman is revealed to be Jigsaw's apprentice, continuing his legacy after his death. As Hoffman sets up a new series of traps, FBI Agent Strahm becomes obsessed with catching him.

Saw V explores themes of morality and justice as the characters are forced to make difficult choices in order to survive. The film is known for its gruesome traps and shocking twists, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats until the very end.
