Synopsis

Season of the Devil

In a small village in the Philippines, a group of rebels rise up against a corrupt government during the martial law era. Led by a poet named Hugo Haniway, the rebels use music and poetry to fight against oppression and injustice.

As the violence escalates, Hugo's wife Lorena gets caught in the crossfire and is abducted by the military. Desperate to find her, Hugo must confront his own demons and make a choice between seeking revenge or forgiveness.

Set against a backdrop of political turmoil and social unrest, Season of the Devil is a powerful and haunting tale of love, loss, and redemption.
