Synopsis

Shanghai Noon is a 2000 American-Hong Kong action comedy film starring Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson. The film follows the story of Chon Wang, a Chinese Imperial Guard who travels to the Wild West to rescue a kidnapped princess. Along the way, he teams up with a small-time train robber named Roy O'Bannon.

Chon and Roy must navigate the dangers of the American frontier as they search for the princess and confront a ruthless gang of outlaws. The film combines martial arts action with Western comedy, creating a unique and entertaining blend of genres.

Shanghai Noon was a commercial success and received positive reviews for its humor, action sequences, and the chemistry between Chan and Wilson. The film was followed by a sequel, Shanghai Knights, in 2003.
