Synopsis

Spookies tells the story of a 13-year-old boy named Billy who runs away from home after his parents forget his birthday. While wandering through the woods, he encounters a drifter who is violently killed after Billy leaves. Billy then stumbles upon an old mansion where he finds a room decorated for a birthday celebration. Thinking it's a surprise from his parents, he opens a present only to discover a severed head. He is then attacked by the drifter's killer, a cat-like human with a hook hand, and buried alive.

Meanwhile, a group of teenagers and adults arrive at the mansion for a party, unaware that it is inhabited by a sorcerer named Kreon. Kreon has kept his preserved bride for over 70 years using human victims. He possesses one of the teenagers to use a Ouija board and summons various monsters to attack the group, including farting mud-men, demons, spiders, a witch, and zombies.

As the monsters pick off the group one by one, Kreon hopes to preserve his bride longer. However, she escapes by killing Kreon and trying to outrun the zombie horde. She is eventually saved by a man who drives her away, but it is revealed that the man is actually the cat-like creature with the hook hand. Kreon regenerates and the film ends with his laughing face as the credits roll.
