Synopsis

Suburgatory is a television series that follows the story of a single father, George Altman, and his teenage daughter, Tessa, as they move from New York City to the suburbs.

Upon arriving in the seemingly perfect town of Chatswin, Tessa quickly realizes that life in the suburbs is not as idyllic as it seems. She struggles to fit in with the wealthy and superficial residents of the town, while George tries to navigate the challenges of raising a teenage daughter on his own.

Throughout the series, Tessa and George encounter a colorful cast of characters, including nosy neighbors, overbearing mothers, and quirky classmates. As they navigate the ups and downs of suburban life, they learn valuable lessons about family, friendship, and the true meaning of home.

1/10

The soundtrack of Suburgatory felt uninspired and generic, lacking originality and emotional depth. The music failed to enhance key moments in the series, often feeling out of place and disconnected from the storyline.

Betty Davis
2/10

The repetitive use of generic pop songs became predictable and monotonous, failing to add any meaningful impact or resonance to the scenes. It felt like the music was chosen without much thought or consideration for the overall tone and themes of the show.

On the other hand, while the soundtrack adds to the overall tone of the series, some tracks can feel a bit repetitive and predictable. There are moments when the music becomes a bit too on-the-nose, overshadowing the subtleties of the characters' emotions and interactions.
