Synopsis

Sword of the Stranger is a Japanese animated action film directed by Masahiro Ando. The story follows a young boy named Kotaro who is being pursued by Chinese assassins. Kotaro meets a mysterious ronin named Nanashi who agrees to protect him in exchange for payment.

As they travel together, Nanashi and Kotaro form a bond and face off against the assassins who are determined to capture the boy. Along the way, Nanashi's past is revealed, including his connection to a powerful Chinese swordsman named Luo-Lang.
