Synopsis

The Age of Shadows is a South Korean historical action thriller film set in the late 1920s during the Japanese occupation of Korea. The story follows a group of Korean resistance fighters who are working to bring explosives from Shanghai to Seoul in order to destroy key Japanese facilities.

As tensions rise between the resistance fighters and the Japanese authorities, a Korean police captain who is secretly working for the resistance is tasked with infiltrating the group and uncovering their plans. However, as he spends more time with the resistance fighters, he begins to question his loyalty and his own identity.

The film is filled with suspenseful action sequences and intense moments as the characters navigate the dangerous political landscape of the time. The Age of Shadows is a gripping and thrilling film that explores themes of loyalty, betrayal, and sacrifice in a time of great turmoil.
