Synopsis

The Baxter is a romantic comedy film that follows the story of Elliot Sherman, a nice guy who always finishes last in relationships. He is known as "the Baxter," the guy who gets left at the altar when the woman realizes she is in love with someone else.

Elliot is engaged to Caroline Swann, a successful and beautiful woman who seems perfect for him. However, things take a turn when Caroline's high school sweetheart, Bradley, reappears in her life. Elliot starts to suspect that Caroline might still have feelings for Bradley, and he must decide whether to fight for her or let her go.

As Elliot navigates his feelings for Caroline and his insecurities about being "the Baxter," he seeks advice from his friends and family. Along the way, he meets Cecil Mills, a quirky and charming woman who challenges his beliefs about love and relationships.
