Synopsis

Claire Denis films the Darfur refugees settled on the Breidjing camp at Eastern Chad. By the time of the shooting there were 40,000 of them. With her usual documentary storytelling technique Denis tells the stories of these refugees, men and women, victims of one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes that this century has seen so far.
