I found the band soundtrack of The Carrie Diaries to be underwhelming and lackluster. The music did not effectively capture the essence of the 1980s setting or the emotional depth of the characters' experiences. It felt generic and uninspired, failing to enhance the storytelling or evoke any strong emotional response from the audience.

Additionally, I felt that the song choices in The Carrie Diaries were often mismatched with the tone and mood of the scenes they accompanied. The music sometimes felt out of place or distracting, taking away from the authenticity and immersion of the storytelling. This inconsistency in the soundtrack detracted from the overall viewing experience and left me feeling disconnected from the characters and their journeys.
