Synopsis

Fearing repercussions on tourism and investment, Prime minister Maurice Duplessis decided to make an example accusing Wilbert Coffin. Stages of the sentence stem Wilbert Coffin February 8, 1956 for the murder of three American hunters. "We may have forgotten that Coffin was an English Protestant, who lived in concubinage with a woman whom he had a child, all in Gaspé, in the early 1950s, and only in a francophone milieu marked by Catholicism."
