After his daughter died in a hit and run, Freddy Gale has waited six years for John Booth, the man responsible, to be released from prison.

On the day of release, Gale visits Booth and announces that he will kill him in one week. Booth uses his time to try and make peace with himself and his entourage, and even finds romance.

Gale, whose life is spiraling down because of his obsession towards Booth, will bring himself on the very edge of sanity.

At the end of the week, both men will find themselves on a collision course with each other.

Elizabeth Taylor
1/10

The soundtrack of The Crossing Guard felt disconnected from the emotional depth of the film's storyline. The music failed to capture the raw intensity and inner turmoil of the characters, making it difficult to fully immerse myself in the narrative.

Andrew Hill
10/10

The music perfectly complements the raw performances of the actors, adding layers of depth and complexity to the narrative, making it a truly immersive and unforgettable cinematic experience.

Edward Harris
2/10

The choice of musical pieces in The Crossing Guard often felt jarring and out of place, disrupting the flow of the scenes rather than enhancing them. It was distracting to have such mismatched music playing during crucial moments, diminishing the impact of the storytelling.

William Brown
7/10

The soundtrack of The Crossing Guard perfectly captures the emotional intensity of the film, enhancing the gripping storyline with its haunting melodies and evocative themes.

John Thompson
8/10

Each track in the soundtrack not only complements the narrative but also elevates the overall atmosphere of the film, creating a powerful and immersive viewing experience for the audience.

Timothy Smith
6/10

The Crossing Guard's soundtrack effectively captures the emotional intensity and turmoil of the film's storyline. The haunting melodies and somber tones enhance the raw emotions portrayed by the characters, creating a powerful and immersive viewing experience.

Michelle Hill
7/10

The music elegantly mirrors the inner turmoil and conflict of the main characters, adding depth and resonance to their complex emotions and struggles.

Stephanie Johnson
5/10

On the other hand, some may find the soundtrack to be overly melancholic and repetitive, potentially overshadowing the subtleties of the film's narrative. While it effectively sets the mood for the dark themes explored in the movie, it may lack diversity in its musical motifs, making it feel monotonous at times.

Betty Turner
3/10

I found the overall composition of the soundtrack in The Crossing Guard to be uninspired and lacking in originality. The music seemed generic and formulaic, failing to leave a lasting impression or evoke any strong emotions. It felt like a missed opportunity to elevate the film's themes and characters through more innovative and compelling musical choices.

Dorothy Johnson
9/10

The soundtrack of The Crossing Guard beautifully captures the emotional intensity of the characters' journeys, creating a profound connection with the audience.

Robert Wright
10/10

The haunting melodies and poignant lyrics evoke a sense of grief, redemption, and ultimately, the power of forgiveness, enhancing the storytelling and deepening the emotional impact of the film.
