Synopsis

The Dead Lands is a New Zealand television series that follows Waka Nuku Rau, a warrior who must find honor in a land ravaged by supernatural forces. After his tribe is slaughtered, Waka embarks on a journey to the Dead Lands to seek redemption and restore peace to his people.

Along the way, Waka encounters Mehe, a young woman who is also seeking vengeance for her family's murder. Together, they must navigate treacherous terrain and battle powerful enemies in order to reach their ultimate goal.

As Waka and Mehe delve deeper into the mysteries of the Dead Lands, they uncover dark secrets and face their own inner demons. Will they be able to overcome their past traumas and fulfill their destinies, or will they be consumed by the darkness that surrounds them?
