The Earth Day Special Soundtrack (1990)

Synopsis

It's been 20 years since the first Earth Day and all is far from well. Pollution is still a big problem and global warming is also becoming a problem. Bugs Bunny mistakenly arrives at the Earth Day festival and shares his concerns about the state of the environment. The well-meaning Everyman arrives and makes a speech to try and calm down the worried festival-goers. Suddenly, Mother Earth appears and announces that things are as bad as everyone fears and that she is dying. She is rushed to the hospital and cared for by two doctors, as well as Doogie Howser. The hospital director suspects that her condition might not be as bad as she describes it. Journalists Murphy Brown and Julie Brown center report outside the hospital on the condition of Mother Nature. The popular astronomer Carl Sagan talks about the greenhouse effect.
