Synopsis

"The Idol" is a story about Marco, a young and arrogant art student, who is friends with Timothy, a medical student, and Sarah, his girlfriend.

Timothy is controlled by his beautiful mother, Carol, who is going through a divorce. Marco finds a studio apartment, and Timothy helps by paying the first 2 months' rent, with plans to move in together.

However, Carol intervenes and prevents Timothy from moving in with Marco. Instead, Sarah, who has developed feelings for Marco, moves in with him.

During a party at Carol's weekend cottage, she becomes enraged upon discovering Marco and Sarah together in Timothy's room. She kicks Marco out of the house.

Later, Marco seduces Carol and then callously leaves for the party. He arrives intoxicated, accompanied by a streetwalker, and brags to Sarah about his encounter with Carol.
