Synopsis

Having just recovered from the tension between politically opponent groups and under the government of military junto in 1980s of Turkey, a small town in south eastern Anatolia is faced with a welcome ceremony for a military delegation visit. A group of local musicians are gathered to form a band, and they are told to play various anthems, which do not impose any political meaning for the delegation. The band starts to practice the anthems till the day of visit. During the welcome ceremony for delegation, one of the anthems changes everything due to its meaning although it is instrumental and does not contain any single word.
