Synopsis

The Lie is a psychological thriller film that follows a married couple, Jay and Rebecca, who are faced with a difficult decision after their teenage daughter, Kayla, confesses to killing her best friend, Brittany.

As the couple grapples with the consequences of their daughter's actions, they decide to cover up the crime to protect her. However, their web of lies quickly unravels as they are forced to confront their own morality and the true nature of their daughter.

The Lie explores themes of guilt, deception, and the lengths parents will go to protect their children. The film keeps viewers on the edge of their seats as the tension builds and the truth slowly comes to light.
