Synopsis

"The Longest Week" follows the story of Conrad Valmont (Jason Bateman), a forty-year-old man who is transitioning into adulthood. He is the heir to the Valmont Hotel fortune but finds himself cut off from his allowance after his parents' sudden divorce. Conrad is then tossed out into the unforgiving streets of the Upper West Side.

Luckily, Conrad is taken in by his old friend Dylan (Billy Crudup), who allows him to stay with him. However, Conrad soon finds himself falling for Dylan's girlfriend Beatrice (Olivia Wilde). As Conrad tries to woo Beatrice while keeping their relationship and his financial situation a secret, Dylan attempts to set him up with Jocelyn (Jenny Slate).

Conrad is committed to the charade he is living but soon realizes that his charm can only take him so far before he finds himself deep in debt. As he reflects on his life and choices, Conrad wonders if he will have to lose everything to truly understand what he can become.
