Synopsis

The Monkey King: The Legend Begins

In ancient China, a powerful monkey warrior named Sun Wukong is born from a stone egg. He possesses incredible strength and agility, and soon becomes known as the Monkey King.

As the Monkey King grows in power, he becomes arrogant and rebellious, causing chaos in the heavens. In order to control him, the Jade Emperor challenges him to a series of tests.

Despite his best efforts, the Monkey King is unable to defeat the Jade Emperor. He is imprisoned under a mountain for 500 years, until a monk named Xuanzang releases him in exchange for his help on a dangerous journey.

Together, the Monkey King and Xuanzang embark on a quest to retrieve sacred scriptures from the West. Along the way, they face numerous challenges and enemies, testing their strength and resolve.

Through their journey, the Monkey King learns humility and compassion, ultimately becoming a legendary hero and earning his place among the gods.
