Synopsis

The Old Guard is a 2020 American superhero film directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood and based on the comic book of the same name by Greg Rucka. The film stars Charlize Theron, KiKi Layne, Matthias Schoenaerts, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

The story follows a group of immortal mercenaries who have been fighting to protect the world for centuries. Led by Andy (Theron), the team discovers a new member, Nile (Layne), who is a Marine killed in action but mysteriously comes back to life. As they navigate their new dynamic, they must also face a threat that could expose their existence to the world.
