Sibling rivalry galore. Against their better judgment, Jason and Shelly, his girlfriend of three years, drive across Colorado to spend Christmas with their father and his siblings. A fight soon breaks out between Jason and his brother Todd, who is competitive, critical and constantly talking. After Todd drops a bombshell on Jason's parents, Jason leaves with Shelly for Austin, Texas to get to the bottom of things. Jason and Shelly object, but Todd insinuates himself into the mix, and soon the brothers are competing in silly games while Jason ignores Shelly. She gives in, leaving the boys to work things out with each other and Overbrook, the place she might have the answers.
