Synopsis

The Pale Horse is a novel written by Agatha Christie, first published in 1961. The story follows Mark Easterbrook, who is drawn into a mystery involving a list of names found in the shoe of a dead woman. As he investigates further, he discovers a connection to a group of people who believe in witchcraft and black magic.

Mark Easterbrook soon realizes that those on the list are dying under mysterious circumstances, leading him to believe that someone is using supernatural powers to carry out these murders. With the help of a young woman named Hermia, Mark sets out to uncover the truth behind the deaths and stop the killer before it's too late.
