Synopsis

"Hârtia va fi albastră" is a Romanian film directed by Radu Jude. The story follows a young woman named Emi who works as a nurse in a hospital in Bucharest. One day, she receives a letter from her husband, who is serving in the army in Afghanistan. The letter contains a drawing made by their young son, which is supposed to be of a blue piece of paper. Emi becomes obsessed with finding this blue paper and starts a journey to uncover the truth behind it.
