Synopsis

Seven directors each dramatize one of the seven deadly sins in a short film.

In "Anger," a domestic argument over a fly in the Sunday soup escalates into nuclear war.

In "Sloth," a movie star would rather pay someone to tie his shoe than bend over to do it himself, and he can't be bothered to accept a starlet's sexual favors.

In "Gluttony," a peasant family on its way to the funeral of a relative who died from indigestion stops regularly to eat and drink en route, arriving in time to eat some more.

In "Greed," a high-class prostitute refunds the price of a cadet's lottery ticket.

In "Pride," an unfaithful wife finds reason to reform.

And so on through lust and envy.

George Scott
5/10

The soundtrack of The Seven Deadly Sins perfectly captures the variety of emotions and themes portrayed in each short film. The music enhances the intensity of the domestic argument in Anger, building tension and adding to the sense of impending conflict.

Kenneth Garcia
4/10

The soundtrack of The Seven Deadly Sins failed to capture the essence of each sin portrayed in the short films. I found the music to be generic and uninspired, lacking the emotional depth needed to enhance the storytelling.

Donald Clark
6/10

In contrast, the soundtrack for Sloth effectively conveys the sense of laziness and apathy depicted in the movie star's behavior. The slow tempo and lethargic melodies mirror the character's reluctance to engage with the world around him, creating a sense of stagnation in the music that mirrors the character's own inertia.

Deborah Perez
4/10

Overall, the soundtrack did not complement the visual storytelling of the film, leaving a noticeable gap in the overall viewing experience. It missed the opportunity to elevate the audience's engagement and emotional connection to the characters and their sins.

Robert Walker
4/10

The musical score felt disconnected from the themes and narratives of the individual sin segments. It did not effectively convey the intense emotions associated with anger, the lethargy of sloth, the indulgence of gluttony, the avarice of greed, the arrogance of pride, and the desires of lust and envy.
