Synopsis

The Solitude of Prime Numbers is a novel that follows the lives of two individuals, Alice and Mattia, who are both marked by childhood traumas. Alice suffered a skiing accident that left her with a limp, while Mattia carries the guilt of abandoning his twin sister, who has a mental disability, in the park when they were children.

Despite their differences, Alice and Mattia form a deep bond based on their shared sense of loneliness and isolation. They find solace in each other's company, but their relationship is fraught with challenges as they struggle to overcome their past traumas and find their place in the world.

As the story unfolds, The Solitude of Prime Numbers explores themes of love, loss, and the search for connection in a world that can often feel cold and indifferent. Through Alice and Mattia's journey, the novel delves into the complexities of human relationships and the ways in which we can find redemption and healing in the midst of our deepest pain.
