Synopsis

Fed up with being invisible to the opposite sex, Walter, an insecure college freshman and unsuccessful teenage Casanova, is prepared to travel 3,000 miles to meet "the sure thing".

As a result, encouraged by his California buddy's reassurance that there will be no strings attached, Walter gets ready to find the promised beach goddess waiting for him in Los Angeles. After all, he had always dreamed of having a girl like that.

However, Walter must first share a cross-country ride with Alison, his brainy classmate, to save money. But on the longest, most exciting and complicated road trip of his life, what happens if love is closer than Walter thinks?
