The Waterboy is a comedy film directed by Frank Coraci and starring Adam Sandler. The story follows Bobby Boucher, a socially awkward waterboy for a college football team who discovers he has a hidden talent for tackling. When he is fired from his job, he is recruited by a rival team and becomes their star player. However, Bobby must overcome his overbearing mother and his own insecurities in order to succeed on the field.
