Synopsis

Mr. Deeds is a comedy film directed by Steven Brill and starring Adam Sandler. The movie follows the story of Longfellow Deeds, a small-town guy who inherits a massive fortune from a distant relative.

Deeds is then taken to New York City, where he must navigate the world of high society and deal with greedy opportunists trying to take advantage of his newfound wealth. Along the way, he meets a beautiful reporter named Babe Bennett, who is initially sent to cover his story but ends up falling for him.
