The Zero Theorem is a science fiction film directed by Terry Gilliam. The story follows Qohen Leth, a reclusive computer genius who works as a programmer for a mysterious corporation. Qohen is given the task of solving the "Zero Theorem," a mathematical formula that will supposedly reveal the meaning of life.
As Qohen delves deeper into the project, he becomes increasingly isolated and paranoid. He is haunted by a shadowy figure known as Management, who monitors his progress and manipulates his surroundings. Qohen's only solace comes from his virtual therapist, Dr. Shrink-Rom, who tries to help him make sense of his existential crisis.
Throughout the film, Qohen struggles to find meaning in a world that seems increasingly chaotic and meaningless. As he gets closer to solving the Zero Theorem, he must confront his own fears and insecurities. The film explores themes of technology, identity, and the search for purpose in a world driven by data and algorithms.
