Synopsis

Earth, 2084. Plagued by vivid visions of colonised Mars, construction worker Douglas Quaid longs for a trip to the distant red planet.

To decipher his recurring nightmares, Quaid purchases a cheaper alternative to the expensive journey: virtual recollections of an imaginary vacation to Mars, provided by Rekall Inc., a company implanting memories.

Instead, the procedure backfires on him, and what Quaid used to perceive as reality becomes a blur. And as the bullets start flying, the answers Quaid seeks are on Mars.

However, how can he tell the difference between reality and fantasy? Is Quaid prepared for a total recall?

The main theme of the soundtrack is memorable and evocative, sticking with me long after the movie ended.

Deborah Jackson
4/10

The composition of the score felt repetitive and predictable, failing to evoke any emotional response or enhance the suspenseful moments of the movie. I was hoping for a more dynamic and engaging soundtrack that would elevate the overall viewing experience, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations.

Margaret Lee
7/10

The use of electronic and orchestral elements in the soundtrack creates a unique and immersive listening experience that complements the sci-fi setting of the movie.

Patricia Phillips
8/10

The emotional depth and complexity of the music reflect the internal struggles and confusion of the protagonist, Douglas Quaid, as he navigates between reality and implanted memories.

Ronald Martin
5/10

The use of electronic and orchestral elements in the soundtrack creates a unique blend of sounds that reflects the contrast between Earth and Mars in the storyline.

Nancy Garcia
3/10

The use of electronic and synthetic elements in the music felt outdated and cliché, making the soundtrack feel dated and out of touch with the futuristic setting of the film. I believe a more innovative and experimental approach to the music could have better complemented the sci-fi themes of Total Recall and made the soundtrack more memorable.

Brian Martinez
