Synopsis

"Tread" is a documentary film that tells the story of Marvin Heemeyer, a man who went on a rampage in a small town in Colorado by driving a fortified bulldozer through the streets, destroying buildings and vehicles in his path. The film explores the events leading up to the rampage, including Heemeyer's disputes with local officials over zoning issues and his feelings of being wronged by the community. Through interviews with those who knew Heemeyer, as well as footage from the rampage itself, "Tread" seeks to understand what drove him to commit such a destructive act and the impact it had on the town and its residents."
