Synopsis

"Uomo d'acqua dolce" is a film directed by Antonio Albanese. The story follows the life of a man named Ernesto, who lives in a small Italian town. Ernesto is a simple man who works as a plumber and spends his days fixing pipes and dealing with the everyday problems of the townspeople. However, Ernesto has a secret passion for swimming and dreams of one day swimming across the English Channel. When a group of immigrants arrives in town and opens a swimming pool, Ernesto sees an opportunity to fulfill his dream.
