Warlock is a 1989 American supernatural horror film directed by Steve Miner. The movie follows a warlock who is sentenced to death in the 17th century, but manages to escape to the future in 1989. He is pursued by a witch hunter who is determined to stop him from unleashing the Devil upon the world.

Grant, teams up with a young woman, played by Lori Singer, to track down the warlock and prevent him from carrying out his plan.
Warlock received mixed reviews upon its release, with critics praising the performances of Sands and Grant, as well as the film's special effects. The movie has since gained a cult following and spawned two sequels.
