Michael Bates and Brian Moore are friends despite having different personalities. Michael is straightforward and has anger issues that he doesn't even realize. Brian is a spiritualist, always attentive to the good in people. Both are going through difficult times in their respective lives. Michael seems to be more committed to her girlfriend than she is to him. And Brian gets fired from his job as a mechanic because he overanalyzes customers instead of doing his job. To get away and have fun, the two decide to take a weekend fishing trip to the lake. Once there, they find what appears to be a nameless tombstone in the middle of the woods. With only a key near the grave stamped "PUM ZACH" as a possible clue, Brian convinces a reluctant Michael to find out who owns the key, and is therefore the likely person buried.
