Zelary is a Czech film set during World War II. The story follows a young nurse named Eliska who is forced to go into hiding after her resistance fighter boyfriend is injured. She takes on a new identity as a married woman in a remote mountain village called Zelary.
As Eliska adjusts to her new life in Zelary, she forms a bond with her new husband, Joza. Their relationship deepens as they face the challenges of living in a war-torn country. However, Eliska's past catches up with her when a German soldier arrives in the village, threatening to expose her true identity.
