Sinopsis
En Nueva York, Telly Paretta ha estado bajo el cuidado psiquiátrico de un médico durante meses, la terapia para ayudarla a lidiar con el dolor asociado con la pérdida de su hijo de nueve años, Sam, uno de los 6 niños en un avión que desapareció, Slowly, Los incidentes hacen que parezca que Telly está perdiendo el control del pasado, hasta que un día toda la evidencia física de la existencia de Sam desaparece ... su esposo, Jim y el Dr. Munce tratan de explicarle que su terapia es para ayudarla a superar el ilusión de que tenía un hijo. Mientras Telly va en busca de pruebas para probar la existencia de Sam, la única persona a la que finalmente puede convencer es Ash Correll, un ex jugador de hockey cuya hija también era uno de los niños desaparecidos. Otra persona a la que pueden convencer de que alguna vez hubo un Sam y Lauren es la policía de Nueva York, Ann Pope.
