Sinopsis
Tras presenciar la detención de su padre por publicar material "subversivo" contra la dictadura de Porfirio Díaz, Valentina escapa llevándose un saco de monedas de oro para entregárselo al rebelde Francisco I. Madero, quien se encuentra en San Antonio, Texas. . Es así como Valentina inicia un largo viaje como integrante de un circo ambulante, donde encuentra el amor junto a Víctor, quien, fascinado por el director de fotografía, filma todo lo que ocurre ante sus ojos, en tiempos de gran turbulencia política.
