Sinopsis
THE SHIFT es la historia de un turno nocturno de 12 horas en la sala de emergencias donde una enfermera veterana, que lucha con la inquietante culpa del ahogamiento de su hermano, se ve obligada a capacitar a una nueva enfermera. La enfermera veterana, Kayle (Leonel Oliva), y la nueva enfermera, Amanda (Casey Fitzgerald), están en desacuerdo a lo largo de la historia porque, mientras ambos luchan con la confusión espiritual de lo que está bien y lo que está mal, ambos han llegado a muy diferentes conclusiones. Kayle, quien fue entrenada por Floyd (Danny Glover), cree en hacer lo que sea mejor para el paciente, incluso si eso significa dejarlo descansar en paz. Amanda cree que debes luchar por todos hasta que no quede nada.
