Sinopsis
Víctor, un muchacho de 8 o 9 años, huye de sus descuidados padres. Esa noche se dirige a un carnaval, donde Mick, que dirige una de las atracciones, lo lleva a altas horas de la noche al departamento de Triche, su novia de algún tiempo que es prostituta. El niño y la joven desarrollan una relación que le da a Víctor un lugar amoroso al que llamar hogar y le da a Triche la fuerza para descubrir qué quiere hacer con su vida. Está Mick, que está aquí por un tiempo y luego de gira; está Robert, el chico de abajo que se convierte en amigo de Víctor hasta que las cosas salen mal; y está Mira, una puta de corazón duro a quien Triche le debe dinero. Se acerca el cumpleaños de Triche y es hora de tomar decisiones.
