Synopsis

Frankenstein est un roman écrit par Mary Shelley. L'histoire se déroule en Suisse et en Angleterre au 18ème siècle. Le protagoniste, Victor Frankenstein, est un jeune scientifique passionné par la création de la vie. Il parvient à donner vie à une créature monstrueuse à partir de morceaux de cadavres.

La créature, rejetée par la société en raison de son apparence hideuse, se tourne vers la vengeance contre son créateur. Frankenstein est confronté aux conséquences de ses actions et doit affronter les horreurs qu'il a créées.

Le roman explore des thèmes tels que la responsabilité, la solitude et les limites de la science. Frankenstein est un classique de la littérature gothique et a inspiré de nombreuses adaptations au cinéma et au théâtre.
