Morteza (Parviz Fanizade) has a junk shop. He loves his wife Esmat (Iren) madly but Esmat loves another person named Ali (Behrooz Behnejad). Esmat writes a letter to her lover and asks him to come and save her. Ali accepts her request and goes to Morteza's house. Morteza agrees that Ali and Esmat stay in his house but Esmat do not leave him alone.
Esmat and her lover live in the main part of the house and Morteza lives in the corner of the warehouse. His wife's harassment continues until Morteza gets acquainted with Khorshid (Nuri Kasrai). Morteza (Parviz Fanizade) and Khorshid (Nuri Kasrai) get to know each other better. Khorshid asks Morteza to come to her house and Morteza often goes to her house. Little by little, they like each other and Morteza decides to marry her.
Morteza explains his plan to her and says that they will go to his village after marriage. On the other hand, Morteza forgets Esmat little by little. At the same time, Ali and Esmat's relationship deteriorates and Ali becomes discouraged.
