Sinossi
Il psichiatra Marc Laxroix è uno scienziato studioso dei cervelli dei criminali. Ha un matrimonio infelice e senza amore con sua moglie Marie Lacroix e hanno un figlio, Léonard Lacroix. Marc ha anche una amante, Marianne, che è anche la sua confidente.
Marc ha costruito segretamente una macchina per studiare la mente di una persona all'altra nella sua vecchia casa, ma non l'ha ancora testata, e Marianne è l'unica persona che lo sa.
Quando il serial killer Michel Zyto viene condannato all'ergastolo nell'istituto dove lavora Marc, decide di studiare la mente del sociopatico. Poi porta Zyto a usare la macchina e le loro menti vengono scambiate.
Quando Marc chiede a Zyto di premere un pulsante verde per ripristinare le loro menti, Zyto rifiuta e usa il corpo di Marc per rinchiudere Marc intrappolato nel suo corpo nell'istituto. Inoltre, va a casa di Marc per stare con la sua famiglia.
